THE GATHERING
Cultivating community for people to expierience communion with God and one another
The Gathering
The Gathering is an alternative expression of church focused on building community. It is grounded in the belief that loving fellowship with people and God can foster joy, healing and freedom. People can spread this love into their lives and communities, enacting justice and reconciliation.

Gathering Experiences

A note from the founder
Welcome! My life has been shaped by the various communities I’ve experienced–both spaces in which I felt the sense of “otherness” and spaces in which I felt known and loved. Since I was a kid, I brought people together in community when I longed for experiences that offered me a deeper sense of belonging. Community-building became a joy-filled way of life and then vocation.
Transformative moments that God has allowed me to experience in my own formation also fuel my passion for creating healing experiences, like home-cooked meals that nourished my body and soul, dance and movement that fostered healing, and sharing my heart and prayers in safe community. I am excited to build villages that support people to flourish in their journeys as well. I hope you join us!
